    3. Hi Tammy, I have no control over what the listserv sends out. But this is the third day that I have sent out messages and people still contact me which tells me they aren't reading their list mail. By forwarding the message I sent this am I will not be replicating the message over and over in response to personal emails. Most of the time events these are random and few and far between and older members know the drill. I expect my notice any gime, (-;. I kind of think other listers are getting tired of hearing about it too. 1. [SWEDEN] Lost Christina Nilsdotter
    2. Evelynn McCain
    3. Dear Listers, I am still working on Nils Matthisson’s family. I am trying to follow his daughter, Christina Nilsdotter, born 25 Sep 1800 in Rolsmo Södragård, Linneryd. I last see her in HFL: Linneryd AI:14 (1818-1822) Image 92 / page 78 (AID: v18796.b92.s78, NAD: SE/VALA/00224). Christina moved here in 1821. Her birth date has morphed a little bit to 24 Dec 1800, but Bo found where that happened. She is not crossed out so usually she would be in the next HFL. I can’t find her in the next HFL: Al:15 in either Virshult or Virsryd. I checked death records for 1821 and 1822 and she was not there. I also tried marriage records for 1821 and 1822. I found an entry that looks like she moved to Ljuder in 1821. Moving out record 21 in Linneryd BI:2 (1785-1837) Image 135 / page 263 (AID: v30510.b135.s263, NAD: SE/VALA/00224). Ljuder doesn’t seem to have moving in records for 1821. So I did the page by page search in HFL: Ljuder AI:7 (1813-1830) Image 474 (AID: v18831.b474, NAD: SE/VALA/00225) but, sadly, I did not find her. Could someone please check the moving out record to see if I read it right. Linneryd BI:2 (1785-1837) Image 135 / page 263 (AID: v30510.b135.s263, NAD: SE/VALA/00224). I tried to see if the moving in records were in another parish, but couldn’t figure it out from the notes in the search page for Ljuder. I did look at Södra Sandsjö as that looked like a possibility, but didn’t find Christina. Any help or advice as to where I can look next would be greatly appreciated. Evelynn

    3. Carol, You don't have to apologize. I only cited the subject line as an example that it was a glitch with the listserve because all 52 people would not have been responding to that message. The fact of the matter is that emails coming and going are scanned. 3. I have followed Johannus (1819) from Södra Ving to Rångedala 1835, back to S. Ving 1837. He works at various farms until 1843 when he moves to Esperöd Socken (Södra Ving B:1 1794-1852 image 42 page 75) I found him moving in (Rångedala Moving In 1833-1849 B:2 image 72 of 101 ancestry or AD image 71) Oct 1843. There seems to be an Esperöd Socken in Rångedala but I do not find it listed in the index of the Household Examination for that time period. (Rångedala Household Examination AI:7 1843-1852 image 4) I searched each page of this Household Examination (it was getting late so I could have missed him) but I could not find him.) ArkivDigital Steneby C:4 (1774-1829) Image 122 / page 235 (AID: v10946.b122.s235, NAD: SE/GLA/13500): Married 1 Oct 1815, bachelor Olof Andersson in Korsbyn and maid Annicka Jansdotter in Taxviken. Notice that Lekåsa was the main parish of the Lekåsa, Essunga, Barne-Åsaka, Fåglum, and Kyrkås (Sandbäck) "pastorat", so his birthplace Lekåsa might be Lekåsa parish, or one of the other parishes of the "pastorat". But it looks like his birth is recorded 13 july 1821 in Lekåsa parish, parents Olof Andersson and Annika Jansdotter of Ösergården. Lekåsa C:4 (1789-1831) Image 88 / page 167 (AID: v9423.b88.s167, NAD: SE/GLA/13323). They are found at Östergården in Lekåsa AI:2 (1814-1838) Image 8 / page 7 (AID: v9736.b8.s7, NAD: SE/GLA/13323). Notice there was an earlier son Johannes born and died 1818. Then in Lekåsa AI:3 (1825-1832) Image 11 / page 7 (AID: v9737.b11.s7, NAD: SE/GLA/13323). His mother has remarried, and dies 1831, Johannes moves 1831 to Algutstorp(?). // Bo Johansson
