Peg, Arema Sweatt was my gggrandmother, her daughtern Ellen Sweatt(Hester) was my ggrandmother.Ellen Sweatts daughter Martha Arema Hester was my grandmother and her daughter Mary Virginia Junior was my mother. I have no pictures either and would love to have some. Yes there is suppose to be cherokee and i was told Arema was cherokee.
