She was the daughter of Edward and Judy Lucas. She is preceded in death by her father, Edward Lucas. She is survived by her husband, David, and her three children, Chris, Tyler and Cody Sweatt; her mother, Judy Lucas; one sister, Joretta Ashmore; and one brother, Jacob Conner. Pallbearers will be Bill Sweatt, Dan Sweatt, Rick Middleton, Richard Chamberlin, Michael Cotton and William Cotton. Honorary pallbearers are David Sweatt, Chris Sweatt, Tyler Sweatt and Cody Sweatt. She was a loving mother and devoted wife who found peace with Christ. She was a member of Bayou Meta Baptist Church and was employed with the Department of Human Services. The family expresses sincere appreciation to Arkansas Hospice for adding comfort to her final days and to the staff of Moore's Funeral Home. Funeral will be on Monday July 5, 2004, in the chapel of Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home at 2 p.m. with Bro. Rick Griffin officiating. She will be laid to rest at Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
