I think my great grand father"s name was John and was from SC or GA. I do know he married a Crews from in or around Dexter, MO and they had a number of children: Vernon, Hobert, at least 2 more sons and 2 or 3 dau. Vernon is my grandfather and he married Nancy Jane Romans in or about 1920. They had a son: Alfred Hobert Sweatt born 06Jul1921.
