John A. Sweatt married a Mary J. [possably Jane] Crews from Dexter, MO. They both are buried in the Ashcraft Cem., Poplar Bluff,Butler Co., MO. Children of John and Mary: Vernon [Dale, I think] Sweatt, m. Nancy Jane Romans abt 1920 in West plains, Mo. then m. Fannie in Ark. Hobert A. Sweatt b.21Oct1916 in Paraguld, Ark. d.3Jul 1979 and burid in same cem. as parents. Douglas Sweatt Lloyd Sweatt may have married a Nellie in Poplar Bluff, MO. he died in Poplar Bluff. Aaron Sweatt Wilma Sweatt Aggy may have been Agatha Sweatt I think most of these children were born in Paraguld, ARK. I used to write Aggy years ago when she lived in California. Lost touch and I think of her often. Hobert and one of his brothers Douglas or Lloyd were carpenters in Poplar Bluff and built a lot of the homes there. My sister has a letter dated 1899 to a G. H. Crews in Bowman, ARK. Other names we have are: Dan. A. Crews, Daniel A. Crews, Ruthie Crews, Mr. J. E. Buch or k?annan, Mr. J. W. Bradly, D.H. Crews, Mrs. J. R. Crews on one side of a peice of paper and on the other side is a song "I Have No Mother Now" Also: George H. Crews d. 29Jan1899 M. E.
