He married Annie May Turner who added an extra T to the name because she didn't like the way it looked on paper.Her father's name was Pink Lafayette.My GGGrandfather's name was Spense Suret according to my Great Uncle Lonny Sweat.My GGGrandmother was full blooded Cherokee who married a Frenchman, this is where it gets confusing. My great, great grandmother was Callie Sweatt born in 1876. Her father was James Sweatt born in 1847. His father was James Sweatt born in 1824. His father was Whittington Sweatt, Jr. Since Whittington was a JR obviously his father was Whittington Sweatt, Sr. I have on birth date or place on either Jr or Sr. Did you find any of these names?
