Their daughter is Lois Madeline Sweatt Boothe, b. 1920 and is my grandmother. She was born in Jones County, TX. My grandmother's siblings are: Velma Junie Sweatt Brown, b. 1905; Nolan Edward Sweatt, b. 1908; Oma Theresa Sweatt Lilley, b. 1912, Fred Warren Sweatt, b. 1914; Louie Green Sweatt, b. 1916; and Patsy Dardenella Sweatt Hanks, b. 1922. Ed descended from William Green Sweatt born in 1853 and married to Lucinda Cinderella Williams, born in 1856 in Texas(Her parents are Russell B. Williams b. approx. 1833 and Serena Estes. Russell was a confederate soldier in the Civil War and died in war. He was a member of the Texas Calvary. Serena's father was Hiram Estes born in 1797 and we have no record of her mother's name) William Green's father was Edward Sweatt born in 1815 in North Carolina and he was married to Elizabeth Ann Williams, born in 1826 in Tennessee.(her father was born in VA and her mother in KY but I don't have names or dates). This is as far back as my family's records go and would appreciate any information that continues back if it's out there! I was told my great-grandfather was of Irish descent.
