There are tons of Cemeteries in Atlanta. Eastview, where a lot of mine are buried, no longer has an office on the premises. Then there's Oakland and of course a lot of smaller ones 1-10 acres. I'm hoping to start indexing some of them with photos. I'm just trying to figure out how to go about it with minimual expense. I've looked for your names at the Sweat locations I've been to, but no luck so far. Easter is not a very common name and being the name it is would grab anyone's attention. Will keep looking as I'm not done with mine either. I have no idea where Joseph Johnson, my grandfather is buried, was told he is in a family cemetery, am assuming in Atlanta. As for Easter Katie (Sweat) Johnson, my grandmother, I can remember going to her grave once, when I was 12, she is in an old cemetery in Atlanta, in a run down part of town. She was not allowed to be buried in the family cemetary because of her being Indian. > > You seem to know a lot about the cemeteries in Georgia, so I thought you might get some hints from the info I know. > > Friends, > Pam > > > ============================== > To join Ancestry.com and access our 1.2 billion online genealogy records, go to: > http://www.ancestry.com/rd/redir.asp?targetid=571&sourceid=1237 > >
