Pam, Since you did not find your grandmother on the Dawes Rolls may I suggest that maybe your grandmother was Catawba. At one time the Catawba Indians lived between the Cherokee and the Europeans. Later most folk who have Indian ancestory and are from S C will name Cherokee as the tribe. I donot know why but everyone seens to forget about about the Catawba. You may want to check out the Catawbas, this may be where you will find her. Patsy
