I live in Arkansas, and it will be along time before I can afford a trip to Georgia to do the research I need to do. I do have family in Georgia, but am not in contact with any of them. My dad passed away in 1975 and we have not heard from his side of the family since. I have tried to find them, but with the last name of Johnson and them living in or around the Atlanta area, well it is just impossible to locate them. (We are caucasion, by the way) I would try to find their marriage certificate, but would not even know what year to begin looking for it.
