My line began as the Ephraim & Olive Sweat to their son Ephraim Sweat to his son Robert Sweat. Robert was nicknamed "Bob" which to this day is a very popular family nickname in our family. Robert also had a son named Ephraim. I am aware of atleast one other early 1900's Sweat who was named Ephraim "Bud" Sweat. Have you seen the Erbon Wise Book on the Sweat Family? I have a copy at home in Louisiana, but currently I am in San Diego. I'll check that book. I bet there's a connection.
