I've "rescued" an old photograph identified as Eva SWARTWOOD which was taken at the Howe Studio in Elmira, New York. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1890's with Eva appearing to be in her teens at the time. Thanks to a SWARTWOOD Family Researcher we believe that Eva SWARTWOOD pictured in the photograph may have been the daughter of John SWARTWOOD (b. Starkey, NY) and Mary SCHUMAKER. I am hoping to locate someone from her family so that this wonderful old photograph can be returned to the care of her family.
