Swartwood b 13 Dec 1875 in Cayuta, NY and in 1893 married Benjamin W. Stroud b 1875, in PA but resided in Chemung, NY, had a son named Frank Lee Stroud, b 2 Mar 1898 in Athens, Bradford Cty, PA. Laura's father was named Frank Swartwood, b 4 Apr 1847 in Cayuta. I don't know where Ben Stroud was born but why would Ben and Laura go to Athens to have their son Frank? There was also a first son named Ira Stroud who lived 1894-95. I don't know where he was born or died. Frank Swartwood's father was William (1807-1891) who married Permilla/Parmelia Brown (1812-1874). They died in Cayuta, NY.
