These families moved from Craven Co. to Washington Co. before moving through KY and settling in the Sumner Co., TN area. Their property was on the Holstein (sp?) around Moccasin Creek, I have transcribed a land grant signed by Gov. Patrick Henry and have found a number of references to the family.
