I`ve just learned that I will be traveling through S.W. Va. (from Bristol to Roanoke and then into D. C. and hope to do a little genealogy along the way. Just wondered if anyone con suggest a less expensive (but clean) motel somewhere north of Bristol or even in Bristol possibly. It will be about the Fri. before Labor Day so I may need to make a reservation soon. The ones right on the internet are usually much more expensive but I am unfamiliar with the area.
