A big ole Merry Christmas to all. My most memorable Christmas was the year I got nothing. Dad had been hurt in the mines and out of work for a while. There was no money for toys. It was the only time I had ever seen my dad cry. It was the year I learned there was no Santa Clause and that Christmas has a lot bigger meaning in our life. It was 1937 and I was five years old.
