Daniel Boone had a son killed by indians along a creek located in Lee county. Also Daniel Boone spent alot of time here in Abingdon, there is an old house here which has a cave located under the smoke house in the back yard. One evening while Boone and company camped by a spring near this cave, the wolves came from this cave and attacked their dogs. Hence Wolf Hills.
