Volks, Anyone know where the NC gold rush of 1830 was? Which counties? It was in the western mtns. Anyone know the history of it? -eddie I tell ya, I don't get any respect; I was a victim of identity thief, but the next day they gave it back.

There was lots of gold mining in NC. The United States' first gold rush was supposedly in 1799, Little Meadow Creek, Cabarrus County, N.C.
