I was looking in some marriage records today and found a marriage between James Williams and Susanna Harvey. The marriage took place June 1, 1826 in Grayson Co., VA. The surety was Thomas Williams. I have a Thomas Williams in my direct line who married Mary Harvey. My Thomas Williams lived in what was then Wythe Co., VA., what is now Smyth. He was a brother to Elizabeth Williams who married William Bonham in Grayson. (I have a direct line to them as well) I do know that there was another Thomas Williams other than mine in Grayson County around this time but the Harvey thing seems like a strange coincidence. I have never been able to find a thing on my Mary Harvey and would love to know if anyone has any information on this family or any Harvey's in these areas. My Thomas Williams also had a brother named Isaiah who married a Margaret Harvey. Any info is greatly appreciated.
