Now I remember why I never transcribed any muster rolls from the 1st NC Regiment!!!!!!!!! Anyway, the unproofed version containing all the 1st NC except one sheet too faint to read as well as a portion of the 2nd NC Regiment has been posted. I will proof it Wednesday against the film (I made copies and they are not the best quality due to the faintness of the orignal document on the film). Hopefully I can get rid of many of the question marks. These extracts contain surname, given, rank, regiment, company, muster roll date, and any relevent comments included in the muster roll. I only extracted the names of people who were listed as dead, wounded, sick, missing or deserted. Some men were listed as absent at Hospital. Since I have no idea whether they were sick or pulling some type of duty, I simply did not put any classification beyond listing Hospital in the remarks.
