I have updated the database with about 120 or so new names. Unfortunately, work has absolutely prevented me from proofing the photocopy entries against the film. I hope to make a significant dent this Wednesday (like I hoped last Saturday and last Wednesday and today <groan!>). Anyway, the URL for the site is: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~familyinformation/ There is a direct link at the main index page to the database. Also, I copied 10 or so sheets from the VA 1st Regiment but had to skip many more as the majority of the frames on the microfilm were too faint to copy. I will start on that and get the VA names I have entered typed up, again, hopefully this weekend (I ain't counting on nothing after the last 2 weeks!). Does anyone know if there were regiments of the VA Continental troops largely composed of western VA folks? Once I get a decent amount of names entered, I will send them on over to Jeff to add to NCNR. By the time he gets through painting, moving, etc. I should have something for him worthwhile. enough to add. By the way, if anyone gets a hit off these entries, let me know. As always, feel free to forward this to any who you feel may have an interest. Best of wishes, Billy P.S. My apologies for all who received multiple copies of this. I only send this info out to lists I subscribe to.
