My Mom would not let the family eat fish and milk at the same meal. She said it would kill us. Women were not allowed to go near the cucumber patch at a certain time of the month. Mom said the plants would die. My Mother-in law thought sulphur & molasses would cure anything. You were supposed to swallow that yellow smelly stuff!!
