    3. I like that "bullette" thing! The name for a young hog may be shoat (?). That is a pig, after it is weaned I think. Lamb is the only word I know for a young sheep; I don't know if there are any words that differentiate them by gender. How about colt (male) and filly (female) for young horses? And mare (adult female) and stallion (adult male) for older horses. Except of course for gelding, which is the horse equivalent of a steer. Arley Edgar A.
