I have been a paid member of Ancestry.com for about a year now. It was interesting reading and I got a lot of bios the first couple of months. For some reason they don't do much for our neck of the woods and unless they start putting stuff in their data base about the Old Dominion and our folks I will not renew next when due. They have a user friendly interactive web site now days and I drop in on them every week but come out disappointed. They do have a lot of information for some parts of the country and is well worth the membership dues. If you can get it for free, go for it while you can.
