Your reinforcement of the fort around Glade Springs as the Snodgrass fort is appreciated; I had visited that fort/home as the guest of the owner when I just showed up one day and was apparently a courious observer. David had moved there from Berkeley county by 1776 and my line from John his brother moved to Washington county at the end of the war. I will make a visit to the fine historical society collection there for more information now that I know what to examine.
