I have a John Snodgrass m. Parmelia Matilda CLARNAN Sept. 4, 1845 in Washington Co. VA. Has anyone heard of CLARNAN surname before? I thought the name was Clamon until I saw the marriage record but I don't see how they got Clarnan from Clamon. Wanda
Wanda, Please check the following site which is all known Snodgrass records, deeds, wills, marriages, etc. Organized by state, by county and then by date, it is a good model to show what can be done with family research and was lead by Charlou Dolan.
