I can add information on Fort Lee. I feel sure that it is the same Fort that my Clendenins established at the present site of Charleston WV By 1789 Colonel George Clendenin sent a report to Gov RAndolph stating Fort Lee was manned by twenty-five privates, two sergeants and one lieutenant and one captain. The Clendenins were my people and I would be glad to share information with anyone who might want information on that particular fort.
