Weaver Creek: Begins near the Russell/Buchanan line near Big A Mtn. and runs in a southwestardly direction through Crackersneck and north of Combs Valley then turns south and dumps into the Clinch River at Artrip. Dumps Creek: Begins near the Russell/Dickenson line near the town of Carrie and runs south along Rt. 600 and the Norfolk Southern railway through South Clinchfield and dumps into the Clinch River right across from the Clinch River Steam Plant at Carbo. Priest's Creek: I don't have an actual Creek named Priest's Creek, however, Priest Mountain (Now called Webb Mountain) was located on the south side of current Rt. 19 between Rosedale and Smithfield. It is possible that Priest's Creek could have been an early name for either Elk Garden Creek or Dry Branch which run in a westardly direction on the north and south side of Priest/Webb Mountain respectively. The two creeks join at Elk Garden and continue west dumping into Big Cedar Creek south of Lebanon. Greasy Creek, a north branch of Copper: Could this be Grassy Creek? I found a Grassy Creek which begains around Lawsons Store near the intersection of Rt. 606 & 609 and runs in a southwestardly direction to Copper Creek. This is in the southwest corner of Russell Co. and looks like it actualy dumps into Copper in Scott Co.
