Vernard, The only names I can remember being mentioned were the Bryants or Brians who were members of his wifes' family who had come from the Yadkin River area of N.C. It has been quite a while since I read this book and do not have a copy now..I got the book from a college library, but most libraries should have it..The book is believeable and tells much about the forts of Kentucky and the people in them..G.
