    3. 3/20/99 Dear All: Ive always wondered why I loved the hammered dulcimer and the lap dulcimer!! It has to be my VA/Scottish/Melungeon(?)/Irish ancestors?!! I also own 2 lap dulcimers, one was hand made for me from an old fellow in VA. I got it many years ago when I went to Davis and Elkins College one summer for classes on herbs. I love my dulcimers. And I sure love the music.
