I just wanted to share a Story that I was a part of Last Year, It is one thing to find our lost relatives that have passed on 100 of years back, but to reunite a family that had been separated for 50 years, has been one of my highlights in doing research. Upon starting to do my research with many good family members and friends on the Net, I had found back to my GGGGrandfather. Only Starting out to know who my GGrandfather was, he was suppose to have been an Orphan, but I have found information to prove who his parents were. Up on doing this my mom was very proud of me, she had told many of the progress I had made on our family names. Well to my surprise, my sister in laws, Mother, was a small child when her mom died in Letcher Co., KY. She asked me to help, through process of elimination, find out if she could remember if it were summer or winter when her mom died. I was able to find her death certificate and then from that we located the Cemetery where her Mom was buried in. But the most important thing, she told me that her Dad had never told them where her mom was buried, they had since moved away from the area in to Southern VA & WV, well she told me after her mom died and her father remarried, they had never heard from their Older Brother again. It had been over 47 years since the other siblings had seen him. I went to work, had tried for about 6 months, then Bingo, I got the clue I needed. Found him in WI, they all had a wonderful reunion last June. He had remarried, had a stroke, and the new wife, had no ideal about his family in WV, Well I think this will always be one of my Most rewarding fine. I have been able to help to reunite a Family. I found him 2 days before Christmas, They all told me this was the best Christmas Present that they could have ever received. So the next time people bug you about being on the computer and researching, just tell them, it is worth its weight in Gold. Kathy B
