My maternal grandmother was Julia Naomi Bailey, and my grandfather was Steward Frazier Stowers. They lived in Bluefield, WV, where he was mayor at one time. I am happy to say that I know a good bit about my Stowers relatives(and am most willing to share), but so sorry that I know almost nothing about my Baileys. I believe my gggrandfather was Daniel Bailey, and he lived in Clear Fork, Rocky Gap, or somewhere in that area. I believe he married Betty Bishop, whose father was a doctor. I know my grandmother had a brother named Mason. I was born just across the mountain in Burke's Garden., but am now far away from that beautiful area.
