Hello there is SW_VA, Looking through my wifes side of our Family Tree Maker, I find a Hannah Rebecca Hobbs, born 1745 in Maryland married to a John William Blanton in 1776, Lee County, Va. She was the daughter of a Vincent Hobbs and Mary Shelby. William Blanton is supposed to have assigned land rights to Joel Hobbs on Moccasin Creek in 1793.
