    3. There are also international money orders. Have you asked the researcher what form of payment they would accept or prefer? Do you trust this person or group with your credit card number? I think bank transfers are fairly common (I've done them successfully, to my son's bank account Belgium) but there may a charge on the other end as well (either for conversion from dollars to Euros or for handling, not sure which.) We have not had good experiences with travelers' checks while actually traveling in Europe (very high fees to cash them at some places, for example.) > Edgar A.
