Published in the Spokesman, WA - Review 2002-4-15 SUTTON, Erselle "Ann" (Age 60) - born July 11, 1941 in Moore, SC; passed away April 11, 2002 in Spokane, WA. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Robert L. Sutton; son, Aaron of Anchorage, AK; daughter, LeAnn of Spokane; daughter-in-law, Kathy Birks of Wenatchee, WA; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and sisters Betty Ruth Johnson, Essy May Moore and Frances Moore all of South Carolina. She was a resident of the community for 17 years. She was a member of Wolf Haven International. She served in the Army for a total of six years and five days. She was awarded the Good Conduct Medal and National Defense Service Medal. She worked for civil service for over 20 years as a cashier/clerk typist. She received a medical retirement in 1999. She was an undergraduate of Eastern Kentucky University in Police Administration. Mrs. Sutton was an avid Barbie doll and coin collector. She was a great animal lover. She was a sponsor for two children from Children International. Visitation will be held Monday, April 15, 2002 from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home, 2203 N. Division. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, April 16, 2002 at 1:00 PM at Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home; Pastor Robert Smith, officiating. Interment will be at Elk Cemetery, Chattaroy, WA.
