She was born in Detroit and was raised in Oakland. She moved to Stockton in 1937. She was a homemaker. She was a Stockton community volunteer, a Unity Church of Stockton member and twice former president of the Pacific Women's Club. Survivors: children, Elaine M. Peters of Murphys and Thomas D.
