Sutton (1/28/01) Virginia Ann Sholett Sutton, 84, of Watertown died Friday at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown. Born in Watertown, she lived in Hartford, Conn., and returned to Watertown in 1951. She graduated from Watertown High School and Watertown Business School. She retired in 1979 as a bookkeeper in the business office of the Watertown city school district and also worked in the quartermaster's office at Pine Camp, now Fort Drum, during World War II. She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church and a member of the Altar and Rosary Society. Her husband, Richard P., died in 1981. Survivors: A daughter, Mary S. Pobedinsky of Watertown; two sisters, Veronica Sholett of Watertown and Pauline Johnson of Jamestown. Services: A time to be announced Monday in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church. Lynde St., Watertown 13601. Juanita P. Sutton (5/29/02) Juanita Pace Sutton, 70, of 144 Bishop Ave., Syracuse, died Friday at Vivian Teal Howard Residential Health Care Facility. Born in Opelika, Ala., she attended schools there. She worked in the housekeeping department at Syracuse University for 27 years, and retired in 1992. She was a former member of Tucker Missionary Baptist Church and volunteered at the Family Service Center. Survivors: Her companion of more than 22 years, Mack Knighton of Syracuse; her former husband, Isaac Sutton of Syracuse; three daughters, Sue Pace-Williams, Rosemary Lawrence-Joyner and Deborah Pace-Kent, all of Syracuse; three sons, Stephen, Ricky and Leroy Lawrence, all of Syracuse; a brother, Woodrow Tignor of Sweetwater, Ala.; 19 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
