Ritter, 92, formerly of Robbins, died Sunday, May 12, 2002, at Pinelake Health and Rehabilitation Center, Carthage. Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Robbins, with the Rev. Ray Brooks and the Rev. Clarence Garner officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. She was a native of Charlotte and the widow of Walter E. Ritter. Surviving are sons, Swanson "Pete" Ritter of Carlsbad, Calif., Harold D. Ritter of Cary, A. Otis Ritter of Robbins; sisters, Myrtle Clemmer and Ellen Clemmer, both of Chapel Hill; brothers, Jasper Clemmer of Chapel Hill, John Clemmer of Greensboro; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. The family will be at the church 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, other times at the home of Otis Ritter, 120 Lakey Siding Road, Robbins. Fry & Prickett Funeral Home, Carthage, is in charge of arrangements.
