Hi Carol, Yes, they are related. Samuel is the son of George Sutton and Hannah Gard are your (? great) grandparents too. Which of Samuel's 11 siblings is your line? I have 3 other news articles and some Sutton pictures that I found in a trunk passed to me that belonged to my gg grandmother, Hannah Sutton Ellis married to Robert S. Ellis. I am aggressively pursuing my Ellis, Patterson and Gard line that is all connected to the Suttons. I have found just about everything a person could want on the Suttons at FamilySearch Ancestral File back to 1585. Thanks Carol for the Reply, Vickie in OK
This family is also on our web page - documentation included. Please stop by for a visit. Additions and corrections are most welcome here. We know have a search engine near the top of the page to aid in locating your ancestors. Looking forward to working with you all. belinda melton hughes www.bjhughes.org -----Original Message----- From: Vihhges@aol.com [mailto:Vihhges@aol.com] Sent: Thursday, May 16, 2002 10:29 AM To: SUTTON-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [SUTTON] Are these 2 messages w/families related to one another?
