Published in the Harwinton, CT - Register-Citizen 2002-5-10 Harwinton - Frederick H. Clymer, Jr., 85, of Whetstone Road, died Wednesday, May 8, 2002. He was the husband of the late Dorothy (Kyra) (Olson) Clymer. Born Aug. 31, 1926 in Rockwood, Tenn., he attended school in Pennsylvania, graduating from Lehigh University in1939. After working with Bethlehem Steel Corporation and the Bureau of Naval Ordinance, he moved to Bristol in 1945, where he was cofounder of the Arthur G. Russell Co., retiring in 1979. He was a resident of Harwinton since 1964. He leaves behind one son, Frederick "Fritz" H. Clymer III of Harwinton; one daughter, Julia C. Llyod of Berwyn, Pa.; one sister, Emily Clymer of Kennet Square, Pa.; three grandsons and two great-grand-children. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at St. Michael's Church in Litchfield. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours.
