I am about to "pack" away my Family History...and probably pass it on to someone in my family. This would be on the Suttons posted earlier on this List. William and Elizabeth Turner Sutton from Beech Grove, TN to TX..settled in Round Top, Fayette County, TX. in 1840...Elizabeth died about a year after arriving...and a few years later...William went back to TN and married Eliza Finley. Cyrene Sutton, daughter of William and Elizabeth Turner Sutton, was my ggrandmother..Cyrene married Robert Hunter. Cyrene was Billy Sutton's aunt... Billy Sutton of the Sutton/Taylor Feud in Texas. This Feud took place in DeWitt County and several surrounding counties. Kit Hunter, Cyrene's son and my Grandfather, took part in that feud with his cousin, Billy Sutton. This is a recap of things I have posted in the past. I have old letters from relatives in Tennessee written to Cyrene in the early 1800's..I have posted some of these on this List.. Julianne/Texas
