Just recently I have been following a James M. Sutton from Boone Co Missouri (1850) to Bowling Green, Pike Co, Mo. Yesterday I found his death record, which Missouri death records are online, incase, any of you are researching in Missouri they are at the Secretary of State Missouri Archives, in a database. 1850 James Sutton age 16 a sadler living with Thomas J. Johnson family Cedar twsp, Boone, Mo. 1860 James M. Sutton age 24 a house carpenter living with R.M. Johnson family.Bowling Green, Pike Mo 1870 James M. Sutton age 43 Carpenter with wife Sarah ann age 35, daughter Ellen E. age 8,son William age 6.Bowling Green Pike Missouri 1880 James Sutton age 53 farmer born in Kentucky; father and mother born in Kentucky wife Sarah A. age 45 born in Mo. father n.c. and mother Kentucky daughter Ella age 18, son William age 16, and son Campbell, age 7 all born in Missouri , Bowling Green,Pike Mo. 1900 C. Emerson of Bowling Green, Mo Filed Oct 11, 1910 by Douglas Wells Date of Death 10 Oct 1910 Doctor Attended from Dec to July 15 to Oct 10, last saw him Oct 8, death occured 8 am General disablity result of Old age, duration several years, Fractured Thigh and enlarged Prostrate gland. I think this Sarah Ann was maiden name Johnson before, Due to 1860 Cencus Between R.M. Johnson and Thos Johnson, is James M. Sutton, living with Thos Johnnson age 26, (Plaster) is Sarah A. age 25, Elizabeth age 21 and Samuel age 6/12. not sure what relationship was as they were not identifyed as head wife son or daughter.
