My husband's grandfather, George W. Autry, married Edith Sutton in Wilmington, NC. George was from Sampson County Edith Sutton's parents were William Sutton and Mary F. Lee (Sutton) whom I believe to be from Bladen Countyand Pender Co, NC I know that there is a William Sutton in the 1880 Bladen Co Census living with his son-in -law, Dr. J. S. Robinson & wife Katie. I am not sure that this is my William Sutton but do know my William Sutton was deceased by early 1920s as his wife Mary was living with one of the other children , either George and Edith or Edith's sister.
