Published in the Beatrice, NE - Daily Sun October 20, 2004 Stacha M. Williams, 92, Beatrice, died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2004, at the Beatrice Manor. She was born Dec. 9, 1911, in Alvo, Neb., and grew up in Stockton, Kan. She married Everett "Nick" Williams on July 9, 1932, in Stockton. They moved to Beatrice in 1936, and she worked for Swifts & Company and later at Campbell's Soup Company, retiring in 1974. She was a foster grandparent from 1975-1994. Survivors: Richard "Dick" Williams and wife Linda of Beatrice; daughters, Sharon Asnicar and husband Nick of Rawlins, Wyo., Doris Bernhardt and husband Richard of Yankton, S.D., Mary Catlin and husband Danny of Beatrice; 18 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Lavina Sutton; husband, Everett; daughter Betty Swenson; son, Gene Williams; brother Merle Sutton and her twin brother, Stan Sutton; sisters Opal Sutton and Mabel McKibbon. Funeral: 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22, Harman-Wright Mortuary Chapel, Seventh and Elk streets, Beatrice, Pastor David Bindel officiating. Burial: Lincoln Memorial Park, Lincoln. Visitation Wednesday from 5 p.m.-9 p.m.; Thursday from 8 a.m.-9 p.m.; and Friday from 8 a.m. until time of service. A memorial has been established to the Beatrice Manor Care Center with Mary Catlin, 646 W. Mary St. Beatrice, NE 68310, in charge.
