I'm looking for any information about Madison RHODES, born about 1813, in North Carolina, per 1870 census. He married Mariam CALDWELL (daughter of James & Margaret Hamilton Caldwell). Madison & Mariam RHODES had 9 children: Drusilla (b. 1840, m. Davis C. Sutton), Georgia Ann (b. 1841), Jerome (b. 1843), Richard L. (b. 1844), Tulula (b. 1853), Carema (b. 1855), Marvin (b. 1859), Hatford (b. 1860), and Carma (b. 1863). . Madison RHODES appears on the 1840 thru 1870 census records in Walker County, Georgia. He was a Judge of the Inferior Court (1866-68) and represented Walker County in the Georgia legislature 1865-66.
