"Gerry" Sutton Jr., a member of the Jewett Fire Company, died on Thursday, July 11, 2002, at his home. He was 39. Mr. Sutton. was a plumber by trade and worked for Strand Community Organization to Rehabilitate the Environment in Kingston. Born April 7, 1963, in Catskill, he was the son of Gerald C. Sutton Sr. and Bonnie Soule Holdridge. In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife, Vickie Maben Sutton; a son, Jeremy Sutton; a step-daughter, Alison Jacobs; a brother, Randy Sutton; two sisters, Debbie Goettsche and Bonnie Jean Diamond; a step-sister, Lisa Hamilton; paternal grandmother, Madeline Sutton; many nieces and nephews. A service will take place at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Decker Funeral Home, 134 Main St., Windham. The Rev. David Overton will officiate. Private cremation will follow.
