While his paintings typically depict the customs and beliefs of the early Cherokees, he has recently begun to paint plains Indian themes as well. In the non-Indian art world, Jerry is known for monumental landscape paintings. His works are included in such noted collections as the Texas Instruments collection. His works have also been exhibited at the Five Civilized Tribes Museum (Muskogee, OK) and the Bath House Cultural Center (Dallas, TX).
