Published in the New Bern, NC - Sun Journal July 9, 2002 LAGRANGE, NC -- Anita Sutton Jones, 74, of 102 Institute Road, died Sunday, July 7, 2002 at Craven Regional Medical Center, New Bern. She was the daughter of the late Norman R. Sutton and Eleanor Whitfield Sutton Boyd. She was a member of LaGrange United Methodist Church where she was active in the Methodist Women and previously served on the Administrative Board. She was a former member of The LaGrange Garden Club and was an avid bridge player. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. from Rouse Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Jack Jones; two daughters, Sue Walmsley and husband, John Walmsley, Martha Lynn Horne and husband, Dean Horne; son, Jimmy Jones and wife, Kay Jones; brother, Elliott Sutton and wife, Mitchell Sutton, all of La Grange; four grandchildren, Leigh Anna Jones, Jennifer Walmsley, Chad Horne and Jay Horne.
