Published in the Modesto, CA - Bee Aug 18, 2004 Alyce E. DeMartin July 30, 1917 -- Aug. 16, 2004 Alyce E. Sutton DeMartin, 87, of Turlock died Monday at Memorial Medical Center, Modesto. Mrs. DeMartin was a native of Kent, Wash., and lived in Gustine and Turlock 71 years. She was a homemaker and a graduate of Gustine High School. She was a member of the Methodist Church of Turlock and the Gustine Bridge Club. She enjoyed golf and gardening. She is survived by her husband, Robert W. DeMartin Sr. of Turlock; children, Robert W. DeMartin Jr. of Modesto and Diane Luster of Fresno; sisters Virginia Lillemoen and Edith Walton, both of Modesto, Frances Owen of San Carlos and Geraldine Gilleran of Rancho Cucamonga; and four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Private cremation; ashes will be scattered in San Francisco Bay. Neptune Society of Central California, Fresno, in charge of arrangements.
