Funeral: 12:30 p.m. Monday at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel. Burial: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at Anderson Clayton Funeral Home, 1111 Military Parkway in Mesquite, with family visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. The family has requested for the visitation and funeral service to be casual dress. Memorials: May be made to the American Heart Association. Red was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Survivors: Wife, Cassie T. Sutton; children, Melvin Leon Sutton Jr. and wife, Florence, of Garland, Thomas Wayne Sutton and wife, Betty, of Wills Point, Glenda Marie Brown of Seagoville, Liz Donnan and husband, Brian, of Carmel, Calif.; 16 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; sisters, Annie Smith, Wanda Phillips and Shirley Randell.
